First Response GB Medical Training Section consists of highly experienced clinicians. All have extensive backgrounds both educationally and operationally within the UK as well as experience of working in both remote and hostile areas globally. Our client base is wide and varied and has included Paramedics, Doctors, NHS staff, Ministry of Defence, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Special Forces, United Nations, foreign military and many Blue Chip Clients. We have a wide range of courses ensuring that there is something suitable for all levels of individuals from basic through to high level advanced pre-hospital care courses. We also offer bespoke training courses if required. Our instructors are highly skilled and hold numerous qualifications and experience including HEMS Aircrew, Emergency Care Practitioners, Critical Care Paramedics, Remote and Hostile medics, Military medics and Doctors experienced in the pre-hospital and emergency setting. Our medical courses are ran in conjunction with Pre-Hospital Care Consultancy Ltd and European Medical Academy.
The qualification is clinically endorsed by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care (Edinburgh), the leading clinical body for pre-Hospital Care in the UK.
Both the Basic and Intermediate FPOS certificates are valid for three years in which learners will need to meet the assessment standard for a new certificate to be re-issued before expiry.
The Trauma First Response course is a one-day continuing education course that teaches the principles of Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) to non-EMS practitioners, including first responders, police officers, firefighters, rescue personnel and safety officers
